The castor has been used for thousands of years to treat acne, but the oil is often not enough to prevent it.
Now, it’s become a drug to treat psoriasis, fibromyalgia, and other skin conditions.
The drug, which is manufactured by Eli Lilly, is called castor powder.
It’s a blend of castor seed oil and castor wax that comes in two varieties, according to a company news release.
The first is a natural oil that contains all the essential fatty acids, like linoleic acid, which can help fight acne.
The second is a chemical-laden oil that can cause allergic reactions.
“It’s a powerful combination that can help prevent skin inflammation,” said Eli Lilly spokesperson Lauren Golledge.
“And since the castoreum oil is natural, it can be easily diluted into a solution to make it more effective.”
The castor comes in a jar with a label with instructions that include a few dosages.
If you’re already taking any topical acne medications, you might need to increase your dosage.
It should last for a week or two.
The FDA has not approved the drug for use as a topical treatment for psorabies.
It is not currently on the FDA’s list of drugs that should be considered “indications for use in the treatment of psoropharyngitis.”
The FDA also has not made a decision on whether to approve the drug as a cancer treatment.
